Elena's Passion To Teach

Volunteering my time to bring art programs into classrooms has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

Some of my best memories are spending time with the kids at BHA, witnessing their joy for having an arts class, and seeing how creativity sparks inspiration and confidence in them.

At Evergrave Church in Magnolia, I created a VBS summer arts program to teach kids the beauty of expression. I brought everything from home like canvas, paints, aprons, brushes, books, tables, T-shirts, props, and painted the walls to bring the classroom to life and inspire their creativity.
